Ms. Mary Jenkins- Administrative Coordinator

Mary A. Jenkins is a native of Orangeburg, South Carolina and serves as the Administrative Coordinator for the University Band Program. Ms. jenkins is a graduate of South Carolina State University with a B.S. Degree in Business Administrative with a concentration in Management. Ms. Jenkins has been employed at SCSU for 32 years. She worked in the Department of Communication and Languages before joining the Department of Visual and Performing Arts in 2000. Ms. Jenkins has been with the band program for the past seven years and enjoys the inter-workings of the different bands.

Ms. Jenkins is an honorary member of Tau Beta Sigma. She served on various committees for the department and the university. Ms. Jenkins is a member of North Orangeburg United Methodist Church and serves of several committees.

Ms. Shenise Ford- Assistant Coordinator

Ms. Shenise L. Ford born in Georgetown, South Carolina is currently the music librarian for the Marching Band. She has been employed at SCSU since 2006. She graduated in 2005 from SCSU with a B.A. Degree in Music Industry. She is currently working on  her MBA at Strayer University. She is also a member of Tau Beta Sigma, National Honorary Band Sorority, Inc. and Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity.
